Best executive coach for you?

Working with me

I know leaders!

I’ve been one, I’ve collaborated with senior leaders as peers, and now I specialise in coaching senior leaders and business professionals alongside being a Non-Executive Director. I understand your world.

High professional standards

In addition to several years coaching and mentoring throughout my career, I have completed a recognised Masters level executive coaching qualification - ILM Level 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching and Mentoring.

Professional supervision & development

I operate with the benefit of regular, independent, specialist supervision. This, alongside a relentless appetite for continuous personal development, means clients can be sure of the best possible experience.

Client satisfaction

I seek regular feedback from my clients and organisation sponsors.

What to expect

Chemistry with your executive coach must be right. To help you decide whether I’m the right coach for you, here’s what you can expect from me...

  • Dedicated time & space to focus on you and your professional development - you control the agenda
  • Empathy, ‘realness,’ challenge …plus some humour when it helps!
  • A safe, 100% confidential space to wrestle with challenges and manage pressure, and open up about your hopes and fears
  • Business and goal-oriented – actionable next steps to guide you to your goals
  • Help unlocking your own potential, and help providing critical analysis
  • Moving up and down the coaching vs. mentoring scale - always asking to share experience versus assuming
  • I draw from multiple psychological schools of thought, tailored to clients' needs

My style of coaching is particularly suited to working with directors and senior executives of private/public sector organisations, partners in professional services firms and senior officials in public bodies and Government.

What not to expect

  • Being told what to do
  • Philosophical debate with no practical application
  • A cosy chat that avoids the real conversation
  • A rigid plan/formula that ignores your needs
  • Therapy!

How we’ll work together

Chemistry

We’ll arrange a 30min chemistry session online (it’s free and no-obligation) to check that our personal chemistry and styles are a good fit, and how coaching together could work.

The Paperwork

Ahead of our first coaching session, you’ll receive my Code of Practice and a short Client Profile form to complete.

1st Coaching Session

We’ll aim to agree your coaching goals*, why they’re important to you, and how you’ll know you’re making progress. Don’t worry, these can evolve over time.

* In conjunction with your sponsor if appropriate

Process

The sessions are usually 90mins – 2hrs long and occur at regular intervals, normally monthly. A commitment of 4-6 sessions is normal. See my Packages page for details.

"Built a great rapport, had some excellent sessions with Nikki, a very dedicated coach.  I learned a lot about myself and leadership more generally.  Would really recommend the experience to others.  I feel that I have much greater clarity now as to my career aims and ambitions.  My influencing abilities have improved, and I have seen clear progression and development in my initial coaching goals."
